PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Federal Data Protection Act and EU Regulation 2016/679

CASINÒ LUGANO SA, with registered office at Via Stauffacher 1, CH-6900 Lugano, in its capacity as Data Controller (hereinafter, “DATA CONTROLLER”), informs you pursuant to the Federal Data Protection Act (DPA) and the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) that your data will be processed in the following manner and for the following purposes.

Object of Processing
The Data Controller processes your personal data such as: first name, last name, telephone, e-mail and only if you provide it in the message, special data relating to e.g. allergies, food intolerances.
In this notice, reference is made generically to your DATA to indicate all the personal data you have provided.
Purpose of processing
With your specific consent, the processing of your DATA is necessary to execute a service contract, for the following Purposes:
a. Request for information and/or reservation at the Restaurant “Elementi”;
b. Storage of your data in order to guarantee you an adequate response in case of any subsequent contact for information and/or reservation purposes;
c. Creation, organisation and management of events (conferences, etc.) in order to provide you with information before, during and after the event, to ensure its smooth running and the safety of participants, speakers and guests.
Processing methods
Your DATA is subject to both paper and electronic and/or automated processing.
Your data is stored for 36 months.
Automated decision-making process
The data subject is not subject to decisions based on automated processing as referred to in Article 22 EU Regulation 2016/679.
Access to data
Your data may be made accessible for the purposes of this policy to the employees of the Data Controller, in their capacity as authorised processors.
Data communication
The Data Controller may communicate your data for the purposes of this policy to:
– Public Administration, Judicial Authorities, Federal Commission as well as to those subjects to whom communication is compulsory by law for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes. These subjects will process the data in their capacity as autonomous data controllers.
– To third party companies or other subjects (by way of example Partners of the Data Controller, technical structures) that carry out activities in outsourcing on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external data processors, or that act as autonomous Data Controllers (e.g. speakers/organisers/sponsors of events in order to optimise the events themselves and to ensure that they run smoothly).
Your data will not be disseminated.

Data transfer
Your data is stored on servers located in Switzerland.
However, it is understood that the data controller may also transfer data outside Switzerland if necessary. In this case, the data controller assures you in advance that the transfer of data outside Switzerland will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions (Art. 6 DPA).
Nature of the provision of data
The provision of data for the purposes set out in this information notice is mandatory. Without it, we will not be able to provide the services requested.
Rights of the person concerned
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may, in your capacity as a data subject, exercise your rights under the Federal Data Protection Act and the EU Regulation 2016/679. In particular, in relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to ask the Data Controller to confirm whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing, to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
